Housing Of The Future Venture Day- 31st of January

by ie Entrepreneurship

“2019 couldn’t start better for our IE Venture Days!” confirms Nacho Mateo- Chief of Investor Relations at IE. Last month we organized our Housing of the Future Venture Day in Singapore and started the week working on the pitch training sessions with 5 finalist Startups that are revolutionizing the world of architecture.

They did a great job pitching to relevant investors and corporations of Southeast Asia such as Michelle YongSui Ling CheahArnaud BonzomJoseph ThiaDiego Jolis and Yiping Goh.

We also had the privilege of having top tier representatives of the architecture world on the stage such as our Dean of the IE School of Architecture and Design Martha Thorne, the founder of Revolution Precrafted Robbie Antonio or the founder of Miniwiz arthur huang among others.

In addition, we had the opportunity to have at the event some of our most successful IE alumni living in Southeast Asia such as the CEO at Saint-Gobain Indonesia Jose Martos, the Founder and CEO of FlySpaces Mario Berta or the Secretary General at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Singapore Laura Martínez Sánchez.

In summary, our Housing of the Future Venture Day had all the ingredients to be considered a perfect Venture Day! Congrats Pablo Viejo winner of the Startup Competition!

Next stop: AI and Robotics Venture Day, Shenzhen, March 17. Save the date!
